Heatwave sees warmest UK April for more than 100 years
The records, which go back more than 100 years, show much of the UK experienced temperatures 3 to 5C warmer than is normal for April. It was also the 11th driest month, with on average half the usual rainfall.

Mr Kendall has successfully recieved Lottery funding from Awards for All to develop pupil and parent groups and increase community involvement in the school. part of the money will be used to fund Mrs Suali who will be running Bhangra Dance classes for pupils and parents. The first free taster session will be on Monday 14th April between 3.00 and 4.00 for women and children. Please contact Mr Kendall for more information.
